How the Science Works
FarmFix combines two soil-reading technologies that most Indian farmers have never had access to. The gamma scanner is a proximal sensor that detects natural variation in radionuclides - readings that correlate strongly with soil texture, organic carbon, and nutrient behaviour across your field. Physical soil samples drawn from each scan zone are then tested in certified labs for pH, NPK, organic carbon, and key micronutrients.
The combination is what makes our soil reading honest. The scan tells us where your field changes. The samples tell us exactly what each zone contains. Together, they create a real, zone-by-zone picture - not the single composite number most Soil Health Cards rely on.
This same proximal sensing technology is used in precision agriculture programs across Australia, Europe, and the US. FarmFix is among the first to bring it to Indian smallholder and FPO fields.
